I am able to make it back to London! Thankfully, we made the right decision in choosing to not wait for the next available flight to Athens. All transport going to and from the UK is completely backed up, but we managed to get a train from Rome to Paris, and then we are going to take the chunnel from Paris to London. The earliest date we can leave: the evening of Thursday, the 22.
So I guess we will try to get comfortable in the airport.
I am so glad we are going to make it back in time for our flight home! I can't wait to see home more than ever now.
Our internet time has almost expired, so if you don't hear anything else from us, things are still going smoothly.
