...
I do not have normal lectures this week. Monday to Thursday is all workshops, seminars, and team time, where my team and I will be preparing for our 10 day outreach. Sadly, I have to miss the team time on Tuesday and Wednesday evening for netball. We have two games this week; if we win both we will move from second to first place, I believe!!
Kim and I have started working on our travel plans for spring break, and I'm getting really excited about it. We still have a lot to figure out and book, so I really hope it will all start coming together soon.
Also, as of last week, all my assignments and tests for this year at winter school are finished (except for a memory work test at the end of term). The tests here are really interesting--they were all multiple choice/fill in the blank/true and false. I say they were interesting because if you chose the wrong answer, you didn't just get 0 for that question, you got -1! So technically, if you got half the questions right, you would still end up with a 0 as a mark! Kind of brutal!
Yesterday I had salsa for the first time since leaving home! It was so delicious! So much flavour (something I am now not used to at all)!
I will be starting Ephesians in my Bible reading tomorrow...it's been really exciting reading the Bible from cover to cover.
Hi Erika,
ReplyDeleteYour netball team must be amazing this year - hope you girls win your games!
Also, we loved the photos you posted today - your new hair colour (notice I'm using the correct British spelling) looks great! Nice jump, too!
